Versione ItalianaEnglish Version

In the Roman Age, the “Castello di Matteuccia” (“Matteuccia’s Castle”) was a sighting tower and, over the centuries, it has been undergone several transformations, becoming a small castle under Todi rule during the Middle Age.
The castle was destroyed and rebuilt many times until recent history when it came under the ownership of the Mancinelli family. It was renovated by the family, and for years it was used as a private house. Added to the castle there is a small ceramics workshop managed by one of the Mancinelli’s sons.
Today, part of the castle is used as a charming and intimate bed and breakfast, provided with two cosy flats, “Eufrasia” and “Pervinca”. The bedrooms are warm, comfortable and furnished in very good taste.
You can have your breakfast outside, in a small and pretty medieval courtyard, on the spacious terrace or inside the flats' functional farmhouse style kitchens.
